Project Goal: To Enrollment of out of School Children Through Establishment of ALPs and Strengthen Current Non-Formal Education System in District Upper Dir-KP
Project Description:
USAID-Palladium Funded project on Enrolling out of school children project was initiated in Dir upper with the financial support from Palladium (USAID). The following are key activities of the project.
Objectives:
- To enroll the out of school children back into school.
- To organize enrollment drives/campaigns
- To arrange awareness campaigns at tehsil level.
- To provide training to community schoolteachers.
Activites / Achievements:
- Enroll students in ALP centers 900 students (300 boys and 600 girls)
- Enroll out of school children in community schools
- Organize 2 enrollment drives/ campaigns in proposed district and targeted 09 UCs.
- Follow up and support report of each ALP centers.
- Arranging 20 Awareness campaigns at Tehsil and UC level.
- Training of community school teachers.
- Quarterly meeting with district officials for project information sharing.
