Rs. 67,2000/- (Six lac and seventy two thousand only)
 

Objectives:

With the overall goal of strengthening research component of the IPRP this proposed project would aim to:

 

·        Identify research carried out by organizations and individuals on medicinal plants of the region for the development of action plan with emphasis on value addition, cultivation (cost effectiveness and introduction of exotic species.)

 

·        Develop research database of the identified research, review and analyze it to know gaps.

 

·        Hold consultative workshops with identified stakeholders including governmental and non-government organizations and individual researchers to develop a research and development action plan for the IPRP.

 

·        To identify potential partners for future collaboration of IPRP for the Research and Development on medicinal herbs.
